Sumario: | The present research titled: Influence of the academic training of English teachers in the learning process of secondary students of public schools, had as a main objective to determine the influence that has the training of the English teachers in the student learning process._x000D_ Data collection was carried out by applying a test to students, a class observation guide and a survey to teachers and students._x000D_ A sample of 48 secondary level students were randomly chosen, 24 students of Víctor Andrés Belaúnde School and 24 students of Republica de Panama school which an English test was applied to determine the level of academic performance in which they are located._x000D_ In addition, to the same students, a survey was applied to collect a series of opinions regarding how the teacher develops his classes._x000D_ The second sample were 3 teachers from the English area of the Víctor Andrés Belaúnde school and Republica de Panama school to whom the teacher survey was applied to obtain the teacher's own opinion of how he develops his class and through the observation guide, information was collected about the type of teacher they are._x000D_ At the end of the research, it concluded that academic training of English teachers influences significantly in the learning process of 5th year students of Republica de Panama and Victor Andres Belaúnde public schools. |
