Sumario:The Compañía minera Gold Marsa S.A. has been performing its operations in the fields of the mining unit of Parcoy vein Valeria level 3125 with a section of 1.20 x 0.80 m. Which is being executed by the specialized contractor Minera Alfa SA., in the exploitation of Tajos. The characteristics of the site are irregular, finding unstable areas, qualifying as rock MF/P (very fractured ground poor), generating on breakage and damage to the crown, as well as increasing the percentage of the dilution. The exploitation is carried out in conventional form, having verified an excess of consumption of explosives which is reflected in the indicator known as load factor. Other deficiencies in blasting refer to an inadequate explosive column of the drill that instead of 66% were charged to more than 75%, originating on excavations and increased cost of drilling and blasting. In perforation, deviations were detected in the parallelism, due to the absence of guides, as a result, unfavorable indicators were caused, for example: mined height, higher volume of material broken to the programmed to solve these problems a research scheme was designed that considered the remarking of the power of mineralization, optimization of the meshes of perforation and a blasting , considering the rock parameters and the controlled blasting application plus adequate and timely maintenance to maintain a good stabilization of the rocky massif.
