Sumario:The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of modification of the technique of Dr. Mario Alva Astudillo in the yield of the synthesis of 1-bromobutane, 1-bromo-2-methylpropane, 1-bromopentane and 1-bromo-3- methylbutane. The technique described by Dr. Mario Alva was amended in 4 important steps of the synthesis: the first amendment was made in the reaction phase chemical synthesis, avoiding the addition of 1 mol H2SO4cc and Alcohol working with primary and 2 mol of HBr (47%), the second amendment was also made at the stage of the synthesis reaction, avoiding boil the mixture heated to a temperature below the boiling point of the product, the third amendment was made in the insulating phase product which was performed by steam stripping, and the fourth amendment was made in the purification of the product, washing the beginning twice with equal volume of distilled H2O. For purposes of the research work, the fifth of the required amounts. The reaction products were identified by determining its density and refractive index as well as their IR spectra. In the statistical analysis of variance was assessed yields obtained show that there is significant variation in the synthesis of favorable 1-bromobutane, 1-bromopentane and 1-bromo-3-methylbutane with 52.07%, 57.51% and 45.08 respectively using the technique Dr. Alva Amended by the author while the yield for the synthesis of 1-bromo 2-methylpropane (31.15%). favors using the technique of Dr. Alva. At the end of the study concluded that modifications to the technique of Dr. Alva has a significant effect on the yield of the synthesis of 1-bromobutane, 1-bromopentane and 1-bromo 2-methylbutane as such modifications do not improve performance 1-bromo 2-methylpropane.
