Se utilizó el programa estadístico IBM SPSS Versión 26 y se presentaron en tablas de simple y doble entrada con frecuencias numéricas y porcentuales. Para determinar la relación entre las variables, se utilizó la prueba del coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados fueron: En cuanto al nivel de conocimiento se concluye que el 53.2% con un nivel alto, seguido del 29% con nivel medio y sólo el 17.7% de los estudiantes se encuentran en un nivel bajo de conocimientos. En cuanto al nivel de actitud el 62.9% del total de alumnos, con una actitud de aceptación, seguido del 32.3% con actitud indiferente y sólo el 4.8% de los estudiantes refleja una actitud de rechazo. Los estudiantes que presentan un nivel bajo de conocimientos, el 63.6% tiene actitud indiferente; en los estudiantes que tienen un nivel medio de conocimientos, el 38.9% presenta una actitud indiferente y el 50% una actitud de aceptación y en el caso de los estudiantes con nivel alto de conocimientos, el 78.8% presenta una actitud de aceptación. Se evidencia que el conocimiento y la actitud de los alumnos ante un sismo se puede apreciar que si existe evidencia a un 95% de confianza, que existe relación significativa (Sig <0.05) entre el nivel de conocimientos y la actitud de los alumnos ante un sismo
