The present work of professional sufficiency has been prepared for the students of the second grade of secondary school of the Educational Institution "Santiago Apostol" of the city of Bagua Grande in the year 2019 entitled "Peruvian Traditions Ricardo Palma", which responds to the provided learning in the area of Communication and Literature, in the competition: Read texts written in their mother tongue, with their ability to reflect and evaluate the form, content and context of the text; Likewise, with the performance, it evaluates the effectiveness of the information considering the effects of the text on the readers based on their experience and the socio-cultural contexts in which they operate._x000D_ In the preparation of the learning session the strategy of silent reading and collaborative work has been used, this allows the interrelation between subjects promoting active participation for or against the traditions of said author.
