El síndrome de impregnación bacilar consiste en síntomas generales como astenia, hiporexia, adinamia, pérdida de peso, sudoración nocturna y febrícula vespertina, relacionados a signos de sintomatología respiratoria. Siendo esta enfermedad de gran preocupación por las autoridades sanitarias, el objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la frecuencia de tuberculosis en pacientes que se atendieron en el Centro de Salud Alto Trujillo, durante agosto 2018 - agosto 2020, Trujillo-Perú. Para esto, se llevó a cabo un análisis descriptivo retrospectivo, se tomaron datos de 1156 pacientes atendidos en el periodo de estudio. Se encontró a 42 (3.63%) pacientes con diagnóstico de sintomáticos respiratorios con baciloscopía positiva, del programa de tuberculosis. De los 42 casos positivos, 20 casos (47.6%) presentan entre 18 a 29 años de edad y 19 casos (45.2%) con edades entre 30 a 59 años, 2 casos (4.8%) tienen entre 12 a 17 años de edad y por último un caso (2.4%) con edad de 60 a más años.

Tuberculosis infection is mainly airborne, and is transmitted through secretions expelled by the cough of infected patients. The clinical picture is of slow and doubtful evolution and of chronic nature. The bacillary impregnation syndrome consists of general symptoms such as asthenia, hyporexia, adynamia, weight loss, night sweats and evening fever, related to signs of respiratory symptoms. Being this disease of great concern by health authorities, the objective of the research was to determine the frequency of tuberculosis in patients seen at the Alto Trujillo Health Center, during August 2018 - August 2020, Trujillo-Peru. For this, a retrospective descriptive analysis was carried out, data were taken from 1156 patients attended during the study period. We found 42 (3.63%) patients with a diagnosis of respiratory symptomatic with positive bacilloscopy, from the tuberculosis program. Of the 42 positive cases, 20 cases (47.6%) were between 18 and 29 years of age and 19 cases (45.2%) were between 30 and 59 years of age, 2 cases (4.8%) were between 12 and 17 years of age and finally one case (2.4%) was between 60 and more years of age.
