Intervención educativa farmacéutica a madres del vaso de leche sobre uso de antibióticos en menores de 5 años del asentamiento humano Santa Cruz - Pisco 2023

El presente estudio de tipo aplicado, de enfoque cuantitativo, de corte longitudinal se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar la influencia de una intervención educativa farmacéutica en los conocimientos de las madres del vaso de leche sobre el uso de antibióticos en niños menores de 5 años del asentamiento humano Santa Cruz Paracas - Pisco 2023. La muestra fue de 51 madres, se les aplicó un cuestionario de 16 preguntas validada por juicio de tres expertos, antes (pre test) y después (post test) de la intervención educativa farmacéutica, con la intención de determinar el nivel de conocimiento en las madres. Resultados: Se obtuvo como resultado de la evaluación del pre y post test de 31,4% a 56,9% respectivamente de respuestas de uso adecuado de antibióticos, la significancia en los resultados recibidos por medio de la prueba estadística de McNemar manifestó un mejor nivel de conocimientos en las madres posterior a la intervención educativa, demostrando una variabilidad favorable respecto al uso adecuado con un nivel de significancia de p<0,05. Se concluye que la intervención educativa influye significativamente en el nivel de conocimiento sobre uso adecuado de antibióticos en las madres de familia. ----- The present study of applied type, with a quantitative approach, of longitudinal section was carried out with the objective of evaluating the influence of a pharmaceutical educational intervention on the knowledge of mothers of the glass of milk about the use of antibiotics in children under 5 years of age. Human settlement Santa Cruz Paracas – Pisco 2023. The sample was 51 mothers, a questionnaire of 16 questions was applied, validated by the judgment of three experts, before (pre-test) and after (post-test) of the pharmaceutical educational intervention, with the intention to determine the level of knowledge in mothers. Results: As a result of the evaluation of the pre and post test, 31.4% to 56.9% respectively of responses of adequate use of antibiotics were obtained, the significance in the results received through the McNemar statistical test showed a better level of knowledge in the mothers after the educational intervention, demonstrating a favorable variability regarding adequate use with a significance level of p<0.05. It is concluded that the educational intervention significantly influences the level of knowledge about appropriate use of antibiotics in mothers.
