La investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de estrés del cuidador y la dependencia funcional en pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular en un Hospital de Pisco, 2023. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo de tipo básica y diseño no experimental – transversal y analítico de nivel correlacional, con una muestra de 83 pacientes que cumplieron los criterios de selección a los que se les administró un cuestionario. Los resultados revelaron que el estrés del cuidador en pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular en un hospital de Pisco para el año 2023, se manifestó en nivel alto en un 4.8%, medio en un 63.9% y bajo en un 31.3%. La dependencia funcional en pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular en un hospital de Pisco para el año 2023, se manifestó en nivel medio en un 45.8%, alto en un 38.6% y bajo en un 15.7%. Se concluyó que existe relación significativa de grado moderado e inversa entre el nivel de estrés del cuidador y la dependencia funcional en pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular en un Hospital de Pisco, afirmando que mientras menos estrés del cuidador, mayor dependencia funcional (p=0.000; rho – 0.547). |

The results revealed that caregiver stress in stroke patients in a hospital in Pisco for the year 2023, It manifested itself at a high level in 4.8%, medium in 63.9% and low in 31.3%. Functional dependence in patients with stroke in a hospital in Pisco for the year 2023, manifested at a medium level in 45.8%, high in 38.6% and low in 15.7%.
