Este trabajo de investigación presenta el estudio morfofuncional de material cerámico diagnóstico del sitio Arqueológico Ankapawachana (CH2), en la circunscripción de la Región Huancavelica, durante los periodos de ocupación cultural del Intermedio Tardío (1000-1400. d.c) y las fases iniciales del periodo Horizonte Tardío (época del incanato). Para este estudio inicial y preliminar del sitio nos hemos valido básicamente del análisis cuidadoso y exclusivo del material cerámico, obtenido de las excavaciones de investigación de la: estructura I, II, III y IV. El estudio cerámico permitió afirmar las diversas morfologías y posibles funciones del material. De igual manera al analizar el material cerámico nos centramos preferentemente en su naturaleza de acabado, cocción y conformación de las piezas: métodos básicos de fabricar arcillas, distinguiendo en su totalidad la técnica de modelado a mano. Aparte, la característica morfológica de cada elemento cerámico permitió informar, sobre su particularidad física del producto, sobre la posible función a la que fue destinada esa pieza y sobre su procedencia. También dentro de los fragmentos encontramos diversidad de formas: abiertas, cerradas y envasadas. Es así los atributos morfológicos de cada pieza determina la posible función destinado al uso real por personas de acuerdo a la necesidad que se le presenta. Finalmente, los atributos tecnológicos de algunas piezas cerámicas identificadas de la fase 4, 6 y 7 de la cultura Ica, del periodo cultural Intermedio Tardío sirvieron para determinar la procedencia foránea que irradio del valle medio costeño hacia las alturas vecinas. Es así que algunos grupos sociales durante el intermedio Tardío tuvieron un vínculo comercial a grandes y regulares distancias. ----- This research shows the morph functional study ceramic archaeological site diagnostic Ancapawachana in the circumscription of Huancavelica region, during periods of cultural occupation Late Intermediate (1100-1400. DC) and the initial stages of period Horizon late (time of Incanato). For this initial and preliminary site survey, we have used basically the careful and exclusive analysis of the ceramic material obtained from excavations Research: Structure I, II, III and IV. The ceramic study allowed to state the various morphologies and possible functions of the material. Similarly analyzing the ceramic material preferably we focus on their nature finishing cooking and shaping parts: basic methods of manufacturing clays, distinguishing fully modeling technique hand. Besides, the morphological characteristic of each ceramic element allowed report on their physical characteristic of the product, on the possible function that was intended that piece and its origin. Also within the vessels are diverse forms: open, closed and exvasadas. Thus the morphological attributes of each piece determines the possible role intended for actual use by people according to the need that presents itself. Finally, the technological features of some ceramic pieces identified phase 4, 6 and 7 of Ica culture, the culture period Late Intermediate served to determine the foreign origin which radiate costefio average valley to neighboring heights. So that some social groups during the Late Intermediate had a business relationship and regular large distances.
