Sumario:This research presents the results of the validation of the use of a mobile computer application that aims to promote self-learning of the Napo Quechua language in categories such as Alphabet, Numbers, Expressions, among others, in early childhood education. The development and implementation of the contents of the application has been carried out with the guidance of speakers of the indigenous language Quechua del Napo. The observation technique was used to record the information from the evaluations carried out in the experiments. This work is an applied type of research, with a pure experimental design. From the results, it has been identified that the use of the application outperforms favourably the learning with the traditional method (with the support of a tutor and didactic materials). Among the conclusions of the work is that digital tools are an ally for the teaching and learning of children, which generates greater interest due to their dynamism and easy interaction with the application, especially when learning an indigenous language, which is currently in danger of extinction.
