Descripción
Sumario:This research was conducted with third and fourth level students of Initial Education from the Faculty of Education Sciences and Humanities (UNAP-Iquitos 2022), with the purpose of examining the relationship between nomophobia and anxiety. The study adopted a quantitative descriptive methodology, using a cross-sectional correlational design. From a total population of 198 students from the initial education school, the study worked with a sample of 56 third and fourth level students. Data collection was carried out using two specific instruments: the nomophobia inventory and the Anxiety inventory (state-trait). Statistical analysis, using Spearman's correlation coefficient, yielded a value of rxy= 0.702, indicating a high, direct, and positive correlation between both variables. This relationship is visually confirmed in the scatter plot, which shows a clear upward linear trend, suggesting that when levels of nomophobia increase, anxiety levels also increase proportionally in these students.
