Sumario:The present investigation entitled "Tourism and sociocultural changes of the Ticuna settlers settled in the rural community of Puerto Alegria, Mariscal Ramón Castilla province 2021" had as general objective to describe the social and cultural changes that tourist activity has generated in the Ticuna settlers settled in the peasant community of Puerto Alegria in the province of Mariscal Ramón Castilla 2021. As a methodology, the qualitative approach was used, it is of a descriptive type and ethnographic design, it included as a study population the inhabitants of the community that are 720 inhabitants, constituted in 145 families and 115 dwellings, 70 chiefs dedicated to tourist activity were taken as a sample, as a research technique, semi-structured interviews and participant observation were used. Finally, this research concludes by showing that the tourist activity generated mostly positive social changes regarding order, cleanliness, communal organization, good relationship between residents, improvement in their economic income that contributes to providing a better education to their children and meeting their needs. basic to improve the quality of life of this population. There is also a minority of the population that is not dedicated to tourism and is not involved in it, which generates internal conflicts. Likewise, it generates positive cultural changes because it was evidenced that in the tourist activity the inhabitants show part of their daily life, they offer traditional food and drinks, handicrafts, presentations of typical dances and exploration of the wild flora and fauna, they also carry out artisanal fishing with traditional elements, tell their stories and legends, which are transmitted to young people and contribute to rescuing, valuing and preserving culture.
