To carry it out, the cross-sectional, field, bivariate design with a relational type was used. The study unit was the four-year-old initial level schoolchildren whose population and sample were 82. This sample was observed using observation guides, information collection instruments previously validated by experts. This result indicates that an increase in participation in recreational activities leads to an improvement in children's interpersonal skills. The research concludes that the Initial Educational Institution No. 728 Caballococha shows a significant and positive correlation (rxy = 0.817) between recreational activities and the development of interpersonal relationships in four-year-old children.
