Sumario:The study was developed with the purpose of explaining the relationship between Burnout syndrome and coping strategies in students of the fourth level of initial training in education, for this, a quantitative approach was used oriented by basic research, of scope correlational and non-experimental cross-sectional design. It constituted a sample population of 40 students, to whom two inventories were provided: Maslach Burnout and Coping with Stress Estimation (COPE). It was determined that Burnout syndrome is related to coping strategies and its dimensions of problem orientation, emotion and avoidance. It concluded that there is a direct moderate relationship (rho=0.428), from which it can be inferred that while Burnout syndrome increases, coping strategies are also enhanced in the initial education students analyzed.
