Departamento Académico de Recursos HídricosLa Rápida Jachacirca es parte del Canal Pasto Grande, como sistema de conducción en el esquema hidráulico del Proyecto Especial Pasto Grande en el Departamento de Moquegua.La rápida Jachacirca se ubica dentro del esquema hidráulico del PEPG entre el portal de salida del túnel Jachacuesta y el Embalse Humalso en la provincia de Mariscal Nieto, departamento de Moquegua a 4,500 m.s.n.m.Se han diseñado los siguientes componentes hidráulicos de la rápida Jachacirca: Un tramo de canal rectangular, la transición de entrada y sección de control, los tres tramos inclinados de sección trapezoidal de la rápida, la trayectoria, el tramo pronunciado de ingreso a la poza, la poza disipadora de sección rectangular y un canal sin revestir con una sección de control terminal.Utilizando el software desarrollado por el U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, se ha simulado el escurrimiento y calculado las características del perfil hidráulico: velocidad, tirante, elevación del nivel de energía y tirantes conjugados antes y después del resalto hidráulico.Además, se han realizado las siguientes verificaciones al diseño hidráulico de la rápida, como: Verificación de flotación por efecto de la subpresión, Verificación del resalto hidráulico, Verificación de la Fuerza de deslizamiento, Verificación al efecto de tubificación y Verificación a la posibilidad de producción de ondas en la rápida.El diseño hidráulico de la rápida Jachacirca permite concluir que a lo largo de los tres tramos inclinados de la sección trapezoidal de la rápida, se garantiza que no se presentará flujo inestable, a pesar de poseer una gran longitud, de contar con dos ángulos horizontales y tres tramos inclinados con pendientes suaves.La poza diseñada, controla el resalto hidráulico y no tiene problemas de flotación por efecto de la subpresión, debido a la presencia del nivel freático elevado. Asimismo, en el diseño hidráulico dentro de lo posible se debe evitar la presencia de curvas horizontales en el trazo de la conducción.Se recomienda que en otros estudios similares se desarrollen todas las verificaciones realizadas en la presente tesis.Jachacirca Rapid is part of the Pasto Grande Canal, as a supply system in the hydraulic scheme of the Pasto Grande Special Project in the Department of Moquegua.Jachacirca Rapid is located within the hydraulic scheme of the PGSP between the exit portal of the Jachacuesta tunnel and the Humalso Reservoir in the province of Mariscal Nieto, department of Moquegua at 4,500 m.a.s.l.The following hydraulic components of the Jachacirca Rapid have been designed: a rectangular canal section, the input transition and control section, the three inclined trapezoidal sections of the rapid, the path, the steep entrance to the pond, the sink of rectangular section and an uncoated canal with a terminal control section.Using the software developed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, it has simulated the runoff and calculated the characteristics of the hydraulic profile: speed, strut, elevation of energy level and conjugated struts before and after the hydraulic jump.In addition, the following verifications have been made to the hydraulic design of the rapid, such as: Verification of flotation by effect of underpressure, Verification of hydraulic jump, Verification of the sliding force, Verification to the effect of piping and Verification to the possibility of production of waves in the rapid.The hydraulic design of the Jachacirca Rapid allows to conclude that along the three inclined sections of the trapezoidal section of the rapid, it is guaranteed that there will be no unstable flow, despite having a great length, to have two horizontal angles and three inclined sections with soft slopes.The pond designed, controls the hydraulic jump and has no flotation problems by the effect of the underpressure, due to the presence of the high-water table.
