El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar el efecto del riego parcial de raíces en el cultivo de papa variedad canchan mediante el riego por goteo superficial y subterráneo, cuantificando el agua de riego aplicado, el rendimiento total, comercial y la productividad del cultivo en referencia al volumen de agua aplicado, obtenidos en condiciones de estrés hídrico al 50 % ETc y 100 % Etc (Cada tratamiento contempló una disposición paralela de laterales de riego). Se estimó un plan nutricional acorde a un rendimiento proyectado de 40 ton/ ha, siendo la dosis aplicada por fertirriego de: 160 kg/ha N, 80 kg/ha P2O5, 200 kg/ha K2O. Se evaluó tres tratamientos en un diseño completamente al azar: “T1: Riego superficial con una lámina de riego al 100% de Etc”, “T2: Riego superficial con una lámina de riego (SPR) al 50% de Etc”, “T3: Riego subterráneo con una lámina de riego (SPR) al 50 % de Etc”. Con los tubérculos cosechados se evaluó rendimiento total y comercial, obteniendo valores de 32.78 ton/ha, 24.31 ton/ha, 24.52 ton/ha en los tratamientos T1, T2 y T3 respectivamente. El método de secado parcial de raíces generó altos valores de productividad como 26.78 y 27 kg/m3 en los tratamientos T2 y T3, comparados con el tratamiento T1 que obtuvo 11.93 kg/m3. La aplicación de SPR generó un gran impacto en el ahorro de agua, importante en zonas con limitaciones del recurso hídrico.The test was carried out in the experimental plot of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the UNALM. The objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of partial root irrigation on the Canchan variety potato crop through surface and underground drip irrigation, quantifying the irrigation water applied, the total and commercial yield and the productivity of the crop in reference to the volume of water applied, obtained under water stress conditions at 50% ETc and 100% Etc (Each treatment included a parallel arrangement of irrigation laterals). A nutritional plan was estimated according to a projected yield of 40 tons/ha, with the dose applied by fertigation being: 160 kg/ha N, 80 kg/ha P2O5, 200 kg/ha K2O. Three treatments were evaluated in a completely randomized design: “T1: Surface irrigation with an irrigation sheet at 100% Etc”, “T2: Surface irrigation with an irrigation sheet (SPR) at 50% Etc”, “T3 : Underground irrigation with an irrigation sheet (SPR) at 50% of Etc”. With the harvested tubers, total and commercial yield was evaluated, obtaining values of 32.78 ton/ha, 24.31 ton/ha, and 24.52 ton/ha in treatments T1, T2 and T3 respectively. The partial root drying method generated high productivity values such as 26.78 and 27 kg/m3 in treatments T2 and T3, compared to treatment T1, which obtained 11.93 kg/m3.
