Departamento Académico de HorticulturaLas condiciones favorables que presenta el Perú frente a otros países del mundo, ha permitido el incremento en el área sembrada del cultivo del espárrago, llegando a las 25 mil hectáreas (Censo IPEH, 2013). Las condiciones de clima y suelo favorecen al cultivo de tal manera que logra duplicar la productividad de los campos de producción. La tecnología empleada y el know – how han formado una sinergia estructurada difícil de superar en otros meridianos. El presente trabajo pretende analizar el ecosistema agronómico en el cual se encuentra actualmente el espárrago en el país y brindar un panorama para su posterior estudio.The benign conditions presented by Peru contrast to other countries in the world, has enabled increase sown’s area of asparagus crop, attain 25 thousand hectares (Censo IPEH, 2013). The weather and soils characteristics advantage crop in such a way as can double the yield of the production fields. The technology uses and the know-how obtained have shape a synergy difficult to overcome in other meridians.
