Maestría en EcoturismoEl ecoturismo es una modalidad de turismo que va de la mano con la conservación del ambiente, que beneficia a las poblaciones locales y respeta sus costumbres y tradiciones. En tal sentido, se convierte en una actividad que se puede aprovechar a la luz de dar a conocer la riqueza natural que posee el país y la fortaleza de la permanencia de la cultura originaria. Por lo tanto, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo elaborar un diagnóstico del estado del ecoturismo a nivel nacional, analizar la política pública en relación al tema, y elaborar una propuesta de un plan de ecoturismo. Es por ello que, a fin de apoyar e impulsar el ecoturismo en el Perú, se debe promover la generación de políticas que contribuyan a su desarrollo, tomando de base las experiencias de otros países de la región y del mundo entero; por lo que el presente documento, presenta el estado del ecoturismo en el Perú y su relación con las políticas públicas; asimismo plantea una propuesta de plan de esta actividad, con el objeto de mostrar las principales acciones que en el país se deberían tomar en consideración, a fin de que favorezcan el desarrollo del ecoturismo y resalte su contribución a la conservación y aprovechamiento sostenible del patrimonio natural y del patrimonio cultural, plasmando su importancia en la generación de ingresos y la mejora en la calidad de vida de las poblaciones involucradas en el ecoturismo, convirtiéndose en una actividad que contribuye con el desarrollo sostenible.Ecotourism is a type of tourism that goes hand in hand with the environmental conservation that benefits local populations by respecting their customs and traditions. In this regard, it becomes an activity that can be used in the light of making known the natural wealth that the country has and the strength of the permanence of the original culture. Thus, the present study aims to develop a diagnosis of the state of ecotourism at the national level, analyze public policy in relation to the subject, and prepare a proposal for an ecotourism plan.
