description Este estudio se centra en evaluar el impacto de las exportaciones no tradicionales (XNT) en el crecimiento económico (CE) del Perú de 1990 a 2018, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y alcance correlacional/descriptivo. Los datos se recopilaron principalmente del BCRP y del INEI. Para el análisis se propone evaluar el impacto en el corto y largo plazo, para lo cual aplicamos un modelo VAR y de cointegración, respectivamente. En esa línea, se utilizaron variables de control para un mejor ajuste (consumo e inversión pública). Los resultados revelaron un impacto significativo en ambos periodos temporales. En conclusión, este la investigación acepta su hipótesis de que las exportaciones no tradicionales impactan en el crecimiento económico para un contexto peruano.
