description La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el impacto de la inversión minera sobre la producción minera del Perú, durante el periodo 2005 – 2019. El tipo de investigación fue explicativa, de diseño no experimental y de corte longitudinal. Para la obtención de los datos se utilizó la técnica documental mediante la recopilación de información y datos secundarios. La muestra está compuesta por datos trimestrales recopilados de las empresas mineras del periodo 2005 – 2019, que fueron extraídos del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP) y el Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MINEM), así como de fichas, documentos, archivos, entre otros. Con lo cual se elaboró una base de datos en Excel y se procesaron usando el software Eviews 10, lo cual permitió realizar la parte econométrica de la investigación. La principal conclusión fue que la inversión minera impacta directamente sobre la producción minera del Perú, durante el periodo 2005 - 2019.
