Esta situación afectaba su estabilidad emocional y sus relaciones interpersonales. Se aplicó un programa de intervención cognitivo conductual orientado a modificar pensamientos disfuncionales y conductas dependientes. La evaluación incluyó entrevistas semiestructuradas, observación clínica y pruebas estandarizadas: Inventario de Dependencia Emocional (IDE), Escala de Autoestima de Coopersmith – Adultos, Inventario Clínico Multiaxial de Millon IV, Instrumento de Distorsiones Cognitivas (HIT-Q) y Test de Matrices Progresivas de Raven. Los resultados revelaron dependencia emocional severa (percentil 99), baja autoestima global, distorsiones cognitivas relacionadas con culpabilizarían y pensamiento pesimista, además de rasgos de personalidad dependiente y melancólico. Se estableció una línea base de 12 sesiones de terapia cognitivo-conductual enfocadas en la reestructuración de creencias disfuncionales, el fortalecimiento de la autoestima y la adquisición de habilidades de afrontamiento adaptativas. En conclusión, el abordaje cognitivo-conductual resultó pertinente para promover la autonomía emocional y prevenir la reincidencia en patrones vinculares disfuncionales

This condition significantly affected her emotional stability and interpersonal relationships. A cognitive-behavioral intervention program was applied to modify dysfunctional thoughts and dependent behaviors. The assessment included semi-structured interviews, clinical observation, and standardized tests: Emotional Dependency Inventory (IDE), Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory – Adults, Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory IV, Cognitive Distortions Instrument (HIT-Q), and Raven’s Progressive Matrices Test. Results indicated severe emotional dependency (99th percentile), low global self-esteem, cognitive distortions related to guilt and pessimistic thinking, as well as dependent and melancholic personality traits. A 12-session cognitive-behavioral therapy plan was implemented, focusing on restructuring dysfunctional beliefs, strengthening self-esteem, and developing adaptive coping skills.
