description Objetivo: determinar la evaluación del efecto cicatrizante de una (pomada) en base al extracto hidroalcohólico de Rumex Frutescens Thouars (cuturromanza) en ratones albinos. Materiales y métodos: está investigación es de tipo explicativo, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño experimental unifactorial. Se ejecutó recolectando la planta, criterios de inclusión, exclusión, desecación, molienda de las hojas de cuturromanza, maceración, evaporado en el rota vapor y baño maría quedando extracto seco para elaborar la pomada, ensayos de solubilidad y tamizaje fitoquímico. La actividad cicatrizante se determinó mediante escalas de medición, registros y observación directa. Los datos registrados fueron analizados con el software SPPS versión 22. Resultados: las hojas presentan 89% de humedad y un rendimiento de extracción de 10%. Demostrando que es totalmente soluble en agua, etanol al 40%, 70%, 90%, hidróxido de potasio, ácido clorhídrico y acetona. Se hallo en la marcha fitoquímica reacción positiva con presencia intensa de fenólicos, taninos, quinonas, esteroles y leve presencia de alcaloides, flavonoides y triterpenos. Presentó mayor efecto en pomada al 2.5% y 5% durante 7 días de tratamiento. Conclusión: el extracto hidroalcohólico de Rumex Frutescens Thouars (cuturromanza) presenta efecto cicatrizante en pomadas de concentraciones 2.5% y 5%.

Materials and methods: this is an explanatory research, quantitative approach and one-factorial experimental design. It was carried out by collecting the plant, inclusion and exclusion criteria, desiccation, grinding of cuturromanza leaves, maceration, evaporation in rotary steam and water bath, leaving dry extract to prepare the ointment, solubility tests and phytochemical screening. The healing activity was determined by measuring scales, records and direct observation. The recorded data were analyzed with SPPS software version 22. Results: the leaves presented 89% moisture and an extraction yield of 10%. It is totally soluble in water, ethanol at 40%, 70%, 90%, potassium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid and acetone. It was found in the phytochemical march positive reaction with intense presence of phenolics, tannins, quinones, sterols and slight presence of alkaloids, flavonoids and triterpenes. It presented greater effect in 2.5% and 5% ointment during 7 days of treatment.
