Materiales y métodos: es de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño metodológico es una investigación no experimental, descriptiva y de corte transversal La población estará conformada por 40 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en UCI del Hospital De Emergencias Pediátricas, el instrumento validado consta de 26 preguntas divididas en 4 dimensiones. Los resultados: el nivel de estrés laboral es medio con 52.5% seguida del nivel bajo con 37.5% y el 10% de las profesionales de enfermería que laboran en UCI del Hospital de Emergencias Pediátricas presentan un nivel de estrés alto. Conclusiones: el nivel de estrés laboral de los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en UCI del Hospital de Emergencias Pediátricas es medio, seguida del nivel bajo y alto.

Materials and methods: it has a quantitative approach, methodological design is a non- experimental, descriptive and cutting research. Transversal: the population will be made up of 40 nursing professionals who work in the ICU of the Pediatric Emergency Hospital, the validated instrument consists of 26 questions divided into 4 dimensions. The results: the level of work stress is medium with 52.5% followed by the low level with 37.5% and 10% of the nursing professionals who work in the ICU of the Pediatric Emergency Hospital present a high level of stress.
