description Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimientos sobre métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes del 5° año de secundaria del colegio S.S. Juan Pablo II, N° 146 San Juan Lurigancho - 2024. Materiales y métodos: el enfoque es cuantitativo, con un diseño de investigación metodológico no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal. La muestra fueron 86 adolescentes del 5° año de secundaria de referida Institución Educativa. La técnica de evaluación de la muestra fue la encuesta diseñada y el instrumento empleado fue el cuestionario de 15 preguntas. Resultados: en cuanto al sexo de los adolescentes del 5° año de secundaria del colegio S.S. Juan Pablo II, N° 146 S.J.L. – 2024 encuestados el 19% (n=16) son del sexo masculino y el 81% (n=70) son de sexo femenino, de los cuales, el 31.4% (n=27) de los adolescentes, tuvieron un nivel de conocimiento sobre los métodos anticonceptivos bueno, seguidamente de un 45.3% (n=39) de nivel regular y 20% (n=20) de nivel deficiente; el 52.3% (n=45) de los adolescentes tuvieron un nivel de conocimiento sobre la definición anticonceptivos bueno, seguidamente de un 44.2% (n=38) de nivel regular y 3.5% (n=3) de nivel deficiente; el 74.4% (n=64) de los adolescentes, tuvieron un nivel de conocimiento sobre la clasificación de los métodos anticonceptivos bueno, seguidamente de un 24.4% (n=21) de nivel regular y 1.2% (n=1) de nivel deficiente y el 45.3% (n=39) de los adolescentes tuvieron un nivel de conocimientos sobre el mecanismo de acción de los métodos anticonceptivos deficiente, seguidamente de un 37.2% (n=32) de nivel regular y 17.4% (n=15) de nivel bueno. Conclusiones: el nivel de conocimientos sobre métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes del 5° año de secundaria del colegio S.S. Juan Pablo II, N° 146 San Juan Lurigancho - 2024, fue en su mayoría representado por un nivel deficiente, regular y bueno.

Results: regarding the sex of the adolescents in the 5th year of secondary school at S.S. John Paul II, No. 146 S.J.L. – 2024 respondents, 19% (n=16) are male and 81% (n=70) are female, of which, 31.4% (n=27) of the adolescents had a level of knowledge on good contraceptive methods, followed by 45.3% (n=39) of regular level and 20% (n=20) of poor level; 52.3% (n=45) of the adolescents had a good level of knowledge about the contraceptive definition, followed by 44.2% (n=38) of a regular level and 3.5% (n=3) of a poor level; 74.4% (n=64) of the adolescents had a good level of knowledge about the classification of contraceptive methods, followed by 24.4% (n=21) of a regular level and 1.2% (n=1) of a poor level. and 45.3% (n=39) of the adolescents had a poor level of knowledge about the mechanism of action of contraceptive methods, followed by 37.2% (n=32) of a regular level and 17.4% (n=15) of good level.
