Es de corte transversal, Finalmente fue correlacional porque se buscó determinar la relación entre las dos variables de estudio. Resultados. se observó que de los 80 alumnos del 5to grado de educación secundaria al ser evaluados y realizar un cruce entre las dos variables de nivel de conocimiento y prácticas preventivas para ver si hay una relación, se pudo evidenciar del total de alumnos que tuvieron conocimiento inadecuado el 61,0% tuvo practicas preventivas deficientes y el 39,0% presento prácticas preventivas eficientes, del total de alumnos que tuvieron conocimiento adecuado el 43,6% tuvo prácticas deficientes y el 56,4% tuvo prácticas eficientes. Conclusiones. No existe relación entre las variables, nivel de conocimiento y prácticas preventivas sobre el VIH/SIDA en alumnos del 5to grado de educación secundaria del colegio 10 de octubre San juan de Lurigancho – 2024.

No existe relación entre las variables, nivel de conocimiento y prácticas preventivas sobre el VIH/SIDA en alumnos del 5to grado de educación secundaria del colegio 10 de octubre San juan de Lurigancho – 2024.The research on the level of knowledge and preventive practices on HIV/AIDS in students of the 5th grade of secondary education was carried out with a quantitative approach, the type of non experimental methodological scheme, since the variables are not manipulated and a physical intervention was carried out to obtain results from our data, the Staninos rule was used. It is cross sectional. Finally, it was correlational because it sought to determine the relationship between the two study variables. Results. It was observed that of the 80 students of the 5th grade of secondary education when evaluated and a cross between the two variables of level of knowledge and preventive practices was performed to see if there is a relationship, it was possible to evidence that of the total number of students who had inadequate knowledge, 61.0% had deficient preventive practices and 39.0% presented efficient preventive practices, of the total number of students who had adequate knowledge, 43.6% had deficient practices and 56.4% had efficient practices. Conclusions.
