description Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimiento del cuidado de enfermería en pacientes con catéter venoso central de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Regional Rezola - Cañete, 2024. Material y métodos: este estudio tiene como diseño un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo de corte transversal, la muestra estará conformada por la población total de 15 licenciados (as) de enfermería, que estará conformado por personal femenino y masculino de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Regional Rezola De Cañete, 2023. Se utilizará como instrumento una encuesta estructurada teniendo como total 22 ítems, que se separan en dimensiones: generalidades del CVC (5 ítems), medidas de bioseguridad (5 ítems), mantenimiento del CVC (7 ítems) y signos de alarma y cuidados generales (5 ítems), este instrumento tiene una escala dicotómica: incorrecto (0) y correcto (1). El valor de la variable es de bajo, medio y alto. Resultados: serán presentados en tablas y gráficos estadísticos según tendencia. Conclusión: el trabajo investigativo tiene la finalidad de recopilar información, problemáticas, para encontrar soluciones adecuadas, en el manejo del catéter venoso central.

A structured survey will be used as an instrument with a total of 22 items, which are separated into dimensions: generalities of the CVC (5 items), biosafety measures (5 items), maintenance of the CVC (7 items) and warning signs and care general (5 items), this instrument has a dichotomous scale: incorrect (0) and correct (1). The value of the variable is low, medium and high. Results: will be presented in statistical tables and graphs according to trend.
