La población de esta investigación es finita, conformada por todos los universitarios internos pertenecientes al X ciclo de la Universidad María Auxiliadora, el instrumento es un cuestionario el cual está compuesta por 5 dimensiones Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el nivel de conocimiento alto lo poseen 24 internos que representa el 35,3%, en el nivel de conocimiento medio se encuentran 39 internos que representa el 57,4% y un nivel de conocimiento bajo lo poseen 5 internos con 7,4% del total. Conclusión: el nivel conocimiento sobre las maniobras de RCP básico en internos de enfermería tuvo un predominio de nivel de conocimiento medio con más de la mitad de encuestado seguida del nivel alto y bajo.

Materials and methods: it has a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is a non-experimental, descriptive and cross-section. The population of this research is finite, made up of all internal university students belonging to the X cycle of the María Auxiliadora University, the instrument is a questionnaire which is composed of 5 dimensions. The results obtained show that the high level of knowledge is possessed by 24 internal which represents 35.3%, at the medium level of knowledge there are 39 inmates, which represents 57.4%, and a low level of knowledge is possessed by 5 inmates with 7.4% of the total.
