description El presente trabajo tiene por objeto visibilizar la problemática que surgen en la mala praxis que realizan a los animales de compañía por parte de los médicos veterinarios, los cuales hasta la actualidad no son sujetos de derecho y por ende, no tienen un marco normativo o una vía establecida para resolución de alguna negligencia, limitándose a un procedimiento administrativo sancionador por parte de la autoridad administrativa por los órganos de INDECOPI y sin reparar el daño moral y patrimonial de aquellos dueños de los animales.Es por esta razón, radica la importancia de esta investigación, con la finalidad que sirva como un instrumento para adecuar la legislación peruana.
