description El presente estudio, denominado Influencia del software de diseño en el modelamiento hidráulico del sistema de agua potable, Ucuchachas, castilla, Arequipa – 2021 tuvo como objetivo la investigación fue determinar la Influencia que tiene el software de diseño en el modelamiento hidráulico del sistema de agua potable. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada, de diseño cuasi experimental y de nivel correlacional con un enfoque cuantitativo. Los resultados del estudio son dos modelamientos de sistema de agua potable en la localidad de Ucuchachas, distrito de Choco, uno en watercad y otro en EPANET. Con características similares, teniendo en consideración una variación que va de 0% a 0.88% en cuanto a presiones y una variación nula en cuanto a velocidades. Por lo cual se puede concluir que la variación entre los softwares no es significativa y ambos se validan entre si. Por lo tanto, no hay influencia del software de diseño en el modelamiento hidráulico, ya que con uno u otro software los resultados son igual de válidos.
