Su meta principal es realizar un análisis multitemporal del impacto del ciclón Yaku en las Áreas Naturales Protegidas (ANP) de Lambayeque, Perú, durante 2023-2024. Este estudio no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional emplea imágenes satelitales para evaluar cambios en la cobertura vegetal y determinar el efecto del ciclo en estas áreas. La población analizada comprende aproximadamente 57,345 hectáreas de ANP reconocidas por su biodiversidad y valor cultural. Los resultados revelaron un incremento del 6,02% en la vegetación de las siete áreas protegidas. Las conclusiones indican que el ciclo Yaku ha tenido un impacto significativo en estas zonas, destacando la necesidad de un monitoreo continuo herramientas mediante como el Índice de Vegetación de Diferencia Normalizada (NDVI) y el software libre ArcGIS. Esta investigación ofrece información valiosa para la gestión sostenible de los recursos naturales y contribuye al entendimiento del cambio climático en las Áreas Naturales Protegidas.
