Método: Cuantitativo, correlacional, de corte transversal no experimental. Lapoblación estuvo compuesta por 100 madres, se aplicaron dos instrumentos un cuestionario para medir las variables depresión post parto y vínculo afectivo entre la madre y el hijo, ambos instrumentos cuentan con confiablidad y validez. Resultados: indicaron que las madres presentaron un nivel de depresión postparto probable, seguido de un nivel bajo en riesgo de depresión y un límite bajo de riesgo en cuanto a la depresión postparto. Y en cuanto al nivel de vínculo afectivo entre la madre y el hijo fue en su mayoría un nivel adecuado, seguido de un nivel extremo y evidente, así mismo en relación a la correlación se obtuvo un p valor de P=072 Conclusión: Existe relación significativa entre la depresión postparto y vínculo afectivo madre hijo en el Asentamiento Humano de Sarita Colonia, Callao2023.
