description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar las diferencias que existen en los niveles de agresividad en los estudiantes de educación secundaria de dos Instituciones Educativas Públicas de distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho en el 2016. La investigación realizada fue de un enfoque descriptivo comparativo, con un diseño no experimental, de tipo transaccional. La población estuvo conformada por 535 estudiantes de la Institución educativa Francisco Bolognesi Cervantes, y 542 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa 1182 El Bosque que fueron el total de su población. El instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario de Agresividad de Buss y Perry, adaptado por nuestro contexto por Ruiz y Torres (2013) con una validez de 0.05 y una confiabilidad de 0.79, consta de 29 ítems. Para efectos de la investigación se obtuvo una validez al 0.05 y una confiabilidad de 0.85 en una población similar. Se concluye que si existen diferencias significativas de agresividad en las escalas de agresión física y hostilidad según el sexo demostrando que los estudiantes varones de educación secundaria de las Instituciones Educativas Publicas Francisco Bolognesi Cervantes y el 1182 El Bosque del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, muestran mayor índice de agresividad física en tanto que las estudiantes mujeres muestran mayor índice de hostilidad a diferencia de los estudiantes varones.
