La presente tesis investiga la aplicación de la Metodología del Ciclo Deming para mejorar la productividad en el área de ventas de una empresa de calzado en Lima en 2024. Utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño experimental, se realizó una investigación explicativa con la totalidad de la población del área de ventas. Se midió la productividad antes y después de la implementación durante 26 días laborables. Los datos se recopilaron mediante una hoja de observación y se utilizaron herramientas de calidad como los diagramas de Ishikawa y Pareto. Antes de la implementación, la productividad era del 50.89%, la eficiencia y la eficacia eran del 70.82%. Después de la implementación del Ciclo Deming, la productividad aumentó un 20.57%, alcanzando el 61.36%, mientras que la eficiencia y la eficacia subieron un 9.7%, llegando al 77.69%. Estos resultados demuestran que el Ciclo Deming mejora significativamente la productividad en el área de ventas de una empresa de calzado.
