La investigación corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo y se considera que la investigación sigue un diseño descriptivo correlacional. La población y muestra de estudio, en este trabajo de investigación estuvo compuesto por 68 trabajadores de la Unidad Ejecutora 1302-Gerencia Subregional de Huaytará, en el año 2018. Se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta y sus instrumentos el cuestionario sobre la gestión de recursos humanos y otro sobre la efectividad institucional. El procesamiento de los datos se realizó mediante el programa SPSS y utilizando los aportes de la estadística descriptiva e inferencial. La realización de la investigación se ha logrado determinar que existe relación positiva y significativa entre gestión de recursos humanos y efectividad institucional en la Unidad Ejecutora 1302 de la Gerencia Subregional de Huaytará- Huancavelica, en el año 2018. Esto se refleja en el coeficiente de correlación Rho Spearman de r = 0,738 y un nivel de significancia de 0,000 menor a la región critica 0,05.
