Enmarcándose en una investigación básica, no experimental, con diseño transeccional correlacional, se empleó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario, tipo Likert para cada variable. La muestra estuvo integrada por 150 docentes y para establecer el grado de confiabilidad se utilizó el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados estadísticos, señalaron que la mayoría de los docentes indican que las habilidades directivas son regulares y buenas, y un porcentaje menor a la mitad indica que son malas. En cuanto a la comunicación organizacional, la mayoría refieren que existe una regular y buena comunicación organizacional y un porcentaje menor indicó que es mala. Además, se concluyó que las variables mencionadas se relacionan de forma significativa, quedando evidenciado por el coeficiente Rho de Spearman 0.000 y que siendo menor a 0.005, termina por rechazar la hipótesis nula y se aceptó la hipótesis alterna.
