La presente investigación tiene como propósito dar a conocer el grado de relación que existe entre “El proceso de Clasificación Socioeconómica y la elegibilidad de los potenciales usuarios a Programas sociales Región Arequipa 2016”. The research is non-experimental, the design is correlational descriptive because it measures the degree of relationship of the variables, the population is constituted by 109 people responsible for the local enumeration units of the region Arequipa, the technique used is the survey and the instrument Is the questionnaire for both variables. Those that were validated by expert judgment, the alpha statistic of cronbach was applied for the reliability of the instrument obtaining a reliability for the variable of the process of socioeconomic classification is of 0.734 and for the variable eligibility of potential users of 0.739 and the data processing Is done under the SPSS version 22 program. Asimismo, existe una relación entre la Clasificación socioeconómico, y la elegibilidad de potenciales usuario, obteniendo una correlación r Pearson de 0,746 entre nuestras variables cuyo resultado es medianamente positivo lo que permite aceptar la hipótesis planteado por el investigador.
