La investigación fue tipo básica, de alcance correlacional, no experimental, y enfoque cuantitativo, cuya población fue 321 contribuyentes y la muestra fue de 144 contribuyentes. La técnica fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. Los resultados determinaron que el nivel de la variable gestión de cobranzas es medio en 52 %; igual manera el nivel de la variable recaudación del impuesto predial es medio en 51 %. Concluyendo que, existe relación positiva alta y significativa entre la gestión de cobranzas y la recaudación del impuesto predial según la opinión de los contribuyentes, mediante el análisis estadístico del coeficiente de correlación Rho Spearman se alcanzó un coeficiente de 0.892, y un p-valor igual a 0,000 (p-valor ≤ 0.01), aceptando así la hipótesis de la investigación.
