A nivel metodológico, tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, de tipo básico y nivel descriptivo; tuvo un diseño de estudio de caso y se efectuó el análisis de contenido, mediante el instrumento de fichas de análisis. Se analizó la traducción del lenguaje tabú en el doblaje al español latinoamericano del corpus y se obtuvieron como resultado 73 términos y expresiones del lenguaje tabú, de las cuales 36 pertenecieron a Sexo, 23 a Nominalia, 12 a Escatología, 3 a Religión y 2 a Familia. Se concluyó que la subcategoría Sexo fue la más predominante, dentro de la cual se encontraron términos y expresiones del lenguaje tabú, relacionadas a la Anatomía y la Obscenidad.
