Descripción
Sumario:This study evaluates the feasibility of implementing a beverage production plant based on camu camu, chamomile, Valeriana and stevia, which aims to improve the quality of sleep of its consumers, since it acts as a relaxant thanks to its components. In addition, thanks to camu camu, the product will provide beneficial health properties. Market research was conducted in the NSE A, B and C of Metropolitan Lima to determine the specific demand for the project. In addition, the results of the survey were used to define the sales channels, which are supermarkets and health stores that would assume the role of our direct consumers. Likewise, it was established that the product will be distributed in packs of 10 plastic containers of 355 milliliters; the final consumers will be able to purchase the drink per unit in the aforementioned sales channels. On the other hand, an evaluation was made of different factors in the possible regions where our plant could be installed. Thus, using the Ranking of Factors location methodology, it was concluded that the plant will be located in the region of Concepción, in Junín. As part of the development of the project, a total investment amount of S/ 615 251,84 was determined, with 75% financing with a debt cost of 9,43% from Banco de Crédito del Perú and the remaining 25% will be covered by the shareholders. On the other hand, an economic and financial evaluation of the project is carried out. The economic analysis reveals an IRR of 29,79% with a payback period starting in the fifth year, while the financial analysis reveals an IRR of 80,28% with a payback period starting in the second year. These values indicate a viable project. Finally, a social evaluation of the project is carried out, where a product-capital ratio of 6,4 is obtained, which is greater than 1, indicating that the project is viable.
