Revisado por el profesor Vicente Alfredo Rodríguez Salcedo, responsable de la asignatura.La presente investigación busca comprender cómo perciben los padres y madres de familia de Lima Metropolitana la Educación Sexual Integral. El presente estudio se trabajó bajo una metodología cualitativa, de enfoque fenomenológico y tipo descriptiva. Para la recolección de la información se utilizó una entrevista semiestructurada a tres padres y madres de familia de diferentes niveles socioeconómicos. Luego, se realizó el análisis de datos en base a la construcción de cuatro categorías: creencias sobre los contenidos que aborda la ESI, implementación, importancia y beneficios, y temáticas. Los resultados revelaron que hay desinformación respecto a lo que implica el programa de Educación Sexual Integral y las temáticas que aborda.
