Sumario: | In the present study, there is an analysis of the installation of a production factory of flavored quinoa milk in Peru. In first place, there is a big opportunity to take advantage of: the growth in the consumption of cereals such as quinoa, in order to elaborate a product out of it. This drink has a high content of nutrients like proteins, fibers, vitamins and minerals which will benefit the consumer’s health. In the first chapter, the problem to solve with the production of this drink will be explained, as well as the objectives and reaching of the investigation. The main objective of the study is to determine the technical, economic, financial, social and environment viability of the implementation of the factory. In the second chapter, the competitive market of the flavored quinoa milk will be analyzed, deepening into its characteristics and benefits. Inside the market study, the projection of the demand in the next years will be estimated as well as the strategy of prices to enter the current Peruvian market. Finally, the characteristics and costs of the raw material will be detailed. In the next chapters, it will be determined the localization of the plant (San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima was the chosen district); the necessary size of the plant in order to satisfy the estimated demand (in this case, the optimal size is 192.848 boxes/year) and there are posed all the processes, machines and supplies that must be implemented in the plant to assure its optimal performance. It’s extremely important to highlight the chapter V (Engineering of the Project), because it is indicated how to elaborate the product, which considerations are important to take and which process is the bottleneck in the production process.In the lasts chapters it is concluded that the installation of the flavored quinoa milk plant is profitable in the course of time. An initial investment of S/ 1.104.616,79 is needed, and in the lapse of 5 years this investment will be able to fully recover and there will be earnings. |
