This research aimed to implement, analyze, and assess the effects of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology within the service industry for process optimization through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The presented case study is a workshop for equipment maintenance where, through the DMAIC methodological design, Lean Six Sigma and TPM methodologies were implemented to increase process effi-ciency. The results show an efficiency increase of over 10%, reducing equipment DPMO by 53% and decreasing the total process time by 2 hours. The value of the proposed model lies in its adaptability to companies providing technological equipment services in the regional context, as well as its contribution to recent studies on the application of TPM and LSS in the service sector. |

En la búsqueda de incrementar la calidad y eficiencia de los servicios, los enfoques de mejora continua adquieren innegable relevancia. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo implementar, analizar y evaluar los efectos de la metodología Lean Six Sigma (LSS) dentro de la industria de servicios para la optimización de procesos a través del Mantenimiento Productivo Total (TPM). El caso de estudio presentado es un taller de mantenimiento de equipos donde, a través del diseño metodológico DMAIC, se implementaron metodologías Lean Six Sigma y TPM para incrementar la eficiencia de los procesos. Los resultados muestran un aumento de eficiencia superior al 10%, reduciendo el DPMO del equipo en un 53% y disminuyendo el tiempo total del proceso en 2 horas.
