On the other hand, depression is an affective disorder, characterized by continuous negative affectivity and negative and pessimistic ruminative thoughts about oneself, the future and the world, which are difficult to stop and tend to worsen (Acevedo & Gélvez, 2018; Beck, et al., 2010). The objective of this applied review is to identify the relationship between bullying and depression in adolescents. The search was carried out in the Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science and Dialnet databases, taking into account the criteria of the Prisma guide (Page et al., 2021), and ten scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria were included. and exclusion. Regarding the results obtained, it was found that there is a positive relationship between bullying and depression in adolescents. It is concluded that while the student is more exposed to bullying victimization, she will have more depressive symptoms. On the other hand, it is important that more similar studies are carried out in the national context, in order to generate results that can be used in the prevention and treatment of bullying and depression.El bullying es un comportamiento que se produce en el colegio, perpetrado por un agresor hacia una víctima, quien tiene menor estatus y poder y, es acosada física y psicológicamente (Arseneault, 2018; Gómez-León, 2021). Por otro lado, la depresión es un trastorno afectivo, caracterizado por un estado de ánimo negativo y pensamientos rumiativos negativos sobre sí mismo, el futuro y el mundo, que resultan difíciles de detener y que tienden a empeorar (Acevedo & Gélvez, 2018; Beck et al., 2010). El objetivo de la presente revisión aplicada es identificar la relación entre el bullying y la depresión en adolescentes. Se realizó la búsqueda en las bases de datos de Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science y Dialnet, tomando en cuenta los criterios de la guía Prisma (Page et al., 2021), y se incluyeron diez artículos científicos que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Con respecto a los resultados obtenidos, se encontró que hay una relación positiva entre el bullying y la depresión en adolescentes. Se concluye que mientras el estudiante sea más expuesto a victimización por bullying, tendrá más sintomatología depresiva.
