It also details the restoration process, quality control and laboratory equipment. The case of Guarango represents a significant advance for the film industry, standing out as an example of commitment to the preservation of audiovisual heritage and the promotion of national cinema.Este ensayo analiza el proceso de implementación del primer laboratorio integral de restauración por parte de la Asociación Guarango Cine y Video (Guarango) en el Perú. Este hito se sustenta en una cultura de investigación, innovación, capacitación continua, y en una eficaz gestión de fondos. Destaca el compromiso de Guarango con la puesta en valor del patrimonio cinematográfico y el desarrollo de la industria nacional del cine. Se examina la situación del patrimonio cinematográfico regional, la experiencia de Guarango como organización, sus producciones de alta calidad y sus avances tecnológicos. También se detalla el proceso de restauración, el control de calidad y el equipamiento del laboratorio.
