It has been verified that, at the national level, there are initiatives related to the implementation of palliative care, and it is as of 2018 that Law 30846 is enacted: “Law that creates the National Plan of Palliative Care for Oncological Diseases and not Oncological ”; and the Technical Document: "National Plan of Palliative Care for Oncological and Non-Oncological Diseases in Peru 2021-2023"; However, both documents are insufficient for an effective approach to palliative care, the protection of the patient, and respect for their dignity in Peru.Ante la situación actual y teniendo como base el contexto mundial, se brinda un análisis bioético y biojurídico de la normatividad de los cuidados paliativos en Perú.
