A two-dimensional factor (somatic and cognitive) model, with adequate goodness of fit was identified (RMSEA = .097; CFI = .932; NFI = .932; TLI = .906). Finally, a high level of reliability was obtained (ω = .892).El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas de la versión peruana del Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) en una muestra de 33,613 personas, con datos obtenidos de una base de datos de la ENDES 2019. La metodología es de nivel básico no experimental y con diseño instrumental. Los resultados indican buena calidad de los ítems, evidenciando capacidad para medir el mismo constructo y diferenciar a las personas con diferentes niveles de depresión. Se identificó un modelo factorial de dos dimensiones (somático y cognitivo) con una adecuada bondad de ajuste (RMSEA = .097; CFI = .932; NFI = .932; TLI = .906).
