The study followed a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational approach. Data was collected via a questionnaire that used the Likert scale to determine frequency and importance. The results showed a significant and positive relationship (0.376) between motivation and job performance among military personnel in the public military educational institution in Callao in 2022.El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo fundamental determinar el nivel de relación entre la motivación y el desempeño laboral del colaborador militar de una institución educativa pública militar en el Callao en el año 2022. La investigación se realizó en una población de 85 colaboradores militares. Se aplicó la muestra de tipo censal para identificar al total de la población para la recolección de datos. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La obtención de datos fue posible mediante el empleo del cuestionario con preguntas de acuerdo con la escala de Likert para establecer frecuencia e importancia.
