A sample of 60 workers were administered the Castro Solano et al. (2004) Leadership Styles Questionnaire (CELID) and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES). The results revealed a strong correlation between leadership styles and work engagement, highlighting the influence of the motivational leader's role in guiding the rewards and benefits that enable motivated, committed and energetic employees to engage in their work. Specifically, transformational leadership and transactional leadership were found to have a positive impact on work engagement.El presente estudio de investigación analizó la relación entre los estilos de liderazgo basado en el modelo de rango completo y engagement laboral en la industria de panificación en la ciudad de Piura, en el año 2022, bajo un diseño de investigación de método cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal. Se aplicó el Cuestionario de Estilos de Liderazgo (CELID), creado por Castro Solano et al. (2004) y el cuestionario Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), en una muestra de 60 trabajadores. Los resultados revelaron una fuerte correlación entre los estilos de liderazgo y el engagement laboral, destacando la influencia del rol de líder motivador guía como de recompensas y beneficios que permita tener colaboradores motivados, con dedicación y vigor hacia su trabajo.
