A quantitative, experimental, applied, explanatory approach was used on a population and sample consisting of change management efforts between the years 2019 and 2020. The failure rate of change requests decreased from 74.95% in 2019 to 59.86% in 2020 and the success rate of change requests increased from 25.05% to 40.14% also, the system is resilient due to the fact that the success rate increased by 16.30%. It is therefore concluded that the automated system of configurations has a positive influence on the management process with a success rate increase of 60.28% and a failure rate decrease of 20.14%.Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia del sistema automatizado de configuraciones sobre el proceso de gestión del cambio del área de IP de una operadora móvil frente a la pandemia de COVID-19. Se empleó una metodología cuantitativa de diseño experimental, del tipo aplicada, nivel explicativo sobre una población y muestra conformada por las gestiones del cambio entre los años 2019 y 2020. Se observó una reducción en la tasa de solicitudes fallidas de 74.95% en 2019 a 59.86% en 2020 y un incremento de 25.05% a 40.14% en relación a la tasa de éxito; asimismo, el sistema tiene una resiliencia en el proceso, debido a que, la tasa de éxito incrementó en un 16.30%.
