Albeit it was not possible to identify them up to species level basically due to their immature condition, all of them were diagnosed as members of the genus Oncicola Travassos, 1916.Durante una exhaustiva evaluación de mamíferos y sus parásitos, la cual se llevó a cabo en la Reserva de Biosfera de Manu, Madre de Dios, Perú, se capturaron dos individuos de Atelocynus microtis, perro de orejas cortas, de los cuales se colectaron algunos acantocéfalos.
